…I built it like a man possessed: slow tension, sudden violence, no escape. It didn't just promote the film—it summoned it.

A few years back, The Delta Hanger came to us with a brief that wasn’t really a brief. Just a handful of emerging concepts and a request: help us visualize what the future might look like.

The film premiered at IndieLisboa in 2019. It was picked up, praised, and written about. Der Spiegel called it "the brutally loud roar of existence," which might be the most perfect description imaginable.

We were promised a revolutionary system that could finally give artists control. A way to establish provenance, prove ownership, and get paid in ways the traditional art world rarely allowed. NFTs offered the potential for a fundamental shift - not just in how work was distributed, but more importantly, in how it was valued.

Generative AI has become increasingly proficient at tasks that demand fidelity. It can stretch a background, fill in missing areas, or conform assets to technical specs with mechanical precision. These interventions are fast, clean, and structurally predictable. The image extends. The frame holds. The system follows orders.

I wanted something that didn't exist: a Morton Feldman T-shirt. Feldman's music stretched time and dissolved structure—anti-rhythm, anti-resolution. It's safe to say there were no tour tees.

There is beauty here, but it's not comforting. It arrives through light filtered across the wreckage, the flicker of glitch in dust, the slow shift of shadow across a broken world.
